 Jacob

Jacob Veit Mueller's interest in music began as a child, he built his first string instrument when he was 13 years old. Jacob interned with violin maker Edward Curtz, from Kingston NY, over a span of 4 years. He then spent a year in the Netherlands, attending college, specializing in wood crafts. When he returned to New York his continued interest in violin making brought him to the North Bennet Street School in Boston. After completing his education Jacob moved to Berlin to work with Violin maker Andreas Kägi.

The Instruments

Jacob's violins are meticulously crafted from the finest materials. The wood is properly aged, dried, and stored over several years before being hand carved. Each instrument is tested and played for a half year after completion. This ensures that every single aspect of the violin, from its assembly and varnish, to the set up and sound, is subject to the highest quality and performance.
